ANAEROBIC DIGESTION TRAINING SEMINAR - MARCH 2011
Staff at W R Dunn & Co Ltd. have recently received a valuable CPD training seminar from Calum Gillhespy of Gray's Chartered Surveyors on the subject of Anaerobic Digestion - an organic process which generates energy sustainably.
Anaerobic Digestion (AD) is the breakdown of organic matter in the absence of oxygen to produce methane, in a Digester housing bacteria. The gas is burnt to produce electricity, heat and fertiliser. This system is particularly suited to large country estates and agricultural land. It is becoming an increasingly popular means of energy production in the United Kingdom, having widespread use in Europe for 20 years plus.
For futher information and advice, including information on the Government 'feed-in' tariff, please contact Calum at Gray's Chartered Surveyors on 01748 829211.
