THE FOLK HALL, NEW EARSWICK - JULY 2012
W R Dunn & Co Ltd was recently commissioned by Joseph Rowntree Foundation to prepare a Condition Survey of the Folk Hall in the garden village of New Earswick. The Folk Hall is an Arts and Crafts style property, originally constructed as a community facility in 1905-1908 by Barry Parker and Raymond Unwin for Joseph Rowntree Village Trust. The building is still a central resource in the village hosting local community groups, functions and events. The report was prepared by W R Dunn & Co Ltd together with Silcock Leedham Consulting Engineers.
