In conjunction with the development of two new Regime Buildings, WR Dunn & Co was appointed to design and detail a new-build 180 inmate capacity house block for HMP Holme House, Stockton and to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating.
In order to support the increased inmate capacity of the prison, it was also necessary to develop and upgrade several existing buildings within the site including the Segregation block, Kitchen (including installation of a temporary kitchen whilst refurbishment works are undertaken), upgrading works to the Gate House, car parks, alterations to the HCC and library. In addition, two new build regime buildings were designed by our architect team, to ensure that adequate education provision was in place for the new house block.
