WR Dunn & Co was appointed to develop a scheme for the sympathetic extension and alteration of a substantial 1920’s Arts & Crafts style property. The proposals were developed in close collaboration with the client. Initially, planning approval was granted for a collection of small scale alterations to the house. However, further thought and consideration resulted in a second planning application to increase the proposed accommodation including an Orangery, and completely remodelling the rear of the property with a sympathetic two storey extension to provide a spacious master suite and games room with new entrance lobby.

A detached garage block was also added on the east side of the property and the swimming pool was remodelled to create a private courtyard. This included a contemporary covered ‘al fresco’ dining area and features a curved pool room.
